DVLaw has advised Goldman Sachs Bank as its Greek legal advisor on a financing granted to affiliates of Cerberus Capital Management for the acquisition of over 10,000 loan portfolios from Intrum, with a nominal value of EUR 33bn and a book value of EUR 1.0bn, across 13 European jurisdictions.
DVLaw team, which was led by partner Irene Anyfanti with the assistance of co-managing partner Yiannis Palassakis and included counsel Dimitris Markakis and associate Maria Vamvaka, provided comprehensive advice to Goldman Sachs Bank in relation to the Greek law aspects of this highly complex transaction (due to its structure and the involvement of multiple jurisdictions), including negotiation and finalization of all Greek law security documents.
