DVLaw has acted as Greek law legal adviser of Piraeus Bank in the financing of €49.2 mil. (loan facility) and up to € 40 mil. (L/G facility) of an Irish securitisation SPV for the funding of part of the deferred purchase price of the acquisition of a portfolio consisting of non-performing secured corporate loans (“NPL Portfolio”) and the facilitation of collections under the NPL Portfolio. The acquisition of the NPL portfolio has been structured as a securitisation transaction. The team was led by partner Irene Anyfanti with the assistance of co-managing partner Yiannis Palassakis on securitisation issues and of associate Maria Vamvaka.
